Hello and good day! I'm Carlus! I'm from the Philippines, where I was born and raised and currently living.

Despite this, I love to talk and ask questions. I love to travel, spend time with my friends, eat and try new cuisines, and surf the Web. Since I am a Social Studies major, I can use this as an opportunity to become more open-minded about other cultures and share about cultures without judgment but with an open mind.

I joined the field of English as a Second Language for almost two years. Teaching English developed into one of my passion. Whenever some of my friends and family members needed to have their English grammar checked, I would be approached by them and asked if the grammar or vocabulary was correct. Since kindergarten, most of the subjects taught to me were in Since kindergarten, most of the subjects taught to me were in English except for subjects Filipino and Social Studies, which in Tagalog is called Araling Panlipunan. The fact that English was everywhere also helped I consider myself good at the latter since it's about history and culture. As far as my work experience involving English goes, I taught English to Chinese and Vietnamese people of all ages online. With me as your teacher, learning English will be fun, exciting, and lively. I am a sociology major, so this is an opportunity for me to be more open minded about other cultures and share about them with an open mind and without judgment.

I have been teaching English as a second language for almost two years now. Teaching English has become one of my passions. Since I am Filipino, I had the advantage of English being one of the official languages of the country. From the time I was in kindergarten, I was taught most subjects in English, except for the Filipino language, called Alarin Panlipunan in Tagalog, and social studies. The fact that English was everywhere also helped me, as it did most Filipinos. I consider myself good at the latter because it is about history and culture. As mentioned, I majored in Sociology in college and earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education.

My work experience with English includes teaching English online to Chinese and Vietnamese people of all ages.
