Self-introduction

JHING'S INTRO FOR LINGUA FRANCA
I have been in the ESL industry for over 5 years teaching to both young and old learners. Conversational English to Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Mongolian, Polish, Ukranian, and Vietnamese students.
My hobbies are watching K-drama, movies, listening and singing along with the song.
My teaching methodologies
I have my own teaching methods for my students to excel in the English language.
I use online translator, images, whiteboard and pen, on-hand pictures, facial and hand gestures.
In teaching, I always make sure that both parties are having fun in learning the language.
I ask questions in between to check their comprehension, I share related words like synonyms, I ask them to make a sentence from the word used and read, or even ask them to portray or draw the word/s.
I find English challenging and fun. Why challenging? I guess as a teacher we need to be flexible to our student's needs, cultivate their strengths, and and overcome their weaknesses.
Teaching and learning come hand and hand in my experience. i learn from my students as i teach them, and my students learn from me as well!
I look forward seeing you on my class!
