2. Select the language you want to teach

4. Select the lesson time from 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes.

The question, "How much margin is deducted from the points earned?" for more information.
Please note that up to 5 lessons can be added.
Can I set my own schedule?
You can schedule the program at your own convenience.
Where can I change my registered information?
Please go to "My Page" -> "Account Information" and click on "Change Registered Information" to make changes. Please note that you cannot change the username you initially registered.
I pasted the YouTube link when I registered, but it doesn't seem to play.
YouTube allows you to access a single video from several different links, so once you have logged out of your Channel subscriber account on YouTube, copy the link to your uploaded video and paste it on the Yubikitas registration page. You will then be able to access the video.
You cannot register with Yubikitas without a video registration.
Do you have any tips for shooting YouTube videos?
Students often take lessons after checking the instructor's atmosphere and speaking style on video before taking the lesson. Therefore, try to make a good impression on those who watch your video.
Shoot your video paying attention to the brightness of the lighting, the sound (is there any noise in it?), and your appearance (is your hair, beard, clothes, etc. in place?). The impression your video gives to students may affect the number of lesson reservations you receive.
What is the recommended price for lessons?
Lesson prices vary depending on the country and region of residence of the student.
For example, an English online lesson service in Japan may offer a single 25-minute lesson for about 200 yen. Try to set your lesson price considering the quality and content of the lessons you offer, your ability, experience, and qualifications, and the market price. Feedback from students after the lesson and whether or not they will continue to take your lessons will be very helpful in setting your price.
Students use this service at 1,000 yen = 1,000 points per month.
It is also possible to purchase 500 yen (500 points), 1,000 yen (1,000 points), or 5,000 yen (5,000 points) as needed. Please try to set the lesson price considering the usage fee on the student's side.
The Yubikitas system usage fee will be deducted when applying for redemption or transfer of earned points. For more information on the usage fee rate, please refer to the question "How much margin is deducted from the points I have earned?" for more information.
How long are the lessons?
The lesson time can be set to 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes.
Should I offer trial lessons?
Offering trial lessons is not mandatory, but if you want to attract more students, you may want to offer trial lessons at a lower price than the regular lesson price or even for free.
How do I report a technical problem?
If you have any problems on the Yubikitas Web site, please contact us. (We are planning to implement a bulletin board for troubleshooting in the future.)
Does Yubikitas offer a curriculum?
There is no curriculum, so you can build your lessons as you like.
Does Yubikitas provide educational materials?
Yubikitas is only a platform and there are no specified teaching materials. Please feel free to prepare your own materials. We may introduce recommended teaching materials in the future.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson start time is not allowed.
Please be aware that you are in a position to receive money from the students (being a professional), and please manage your schedule and time thoroughly. If your instructor does not attend or is late for a lesson, the student will report to Yubikitas that the instructor did not attend or was late. If this happens, the teacher's attendance will decrease and students may stop booking your lessons. Please note that teachers who do not show up for lessons are less likely to be trusted.
How are the lessons conducted?
After a student reserves a lesson, the student will receive an email with your Skype ID or URL.
Make sure the student has added your Skype account before the lesson.
If you are not registered by the start of the lesson, please double check that the Skype ID or URL you registered with is correct.
After that, please go to My Page on Yubikitas, select the appropriate lesson from the lesson being reserved, and send a message to the student from that page.
Once you have confirmed that the student has added your Skype account, you call the student on Skype at the lesson start time to begin the lesson.
I am no longer able to do a lesson that I have reserved. What should I do?
You may cancel up to 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson.
Cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson start time is not allowed.
Please be aware that you are in a position to receive money from students (being a professional), and please manage your schedule and time thoroughly. In the unlikely event that you will be late or unable to attend a lesson, please contact the Skype account of the student who has already registered for the lesson, or go to My Page on Yubikitas, select the lesson you have reserved, and send a message to the student from that page.
If a tutor is absent or late for a lesson, students will report to Yubikitas that the tutor did not attend or was late. If this happens, the teacher's attendance will decrease and students may stop booking your lessons. Please note that teachers who do not show up for lessons are less likely to be trusted.
What should I do if a student is late or absent for a lesson?
If a student is late for a lesson, please wait for the student for the duration of that lesson. You should only give the lesson for the remainder of the lesson from the time the student joins. For example, if the lesson is from 16:00 to 16:25 and the student joins at 16:15, the remaining 10 minutes of the lesson will be the lesson time.
Is there a review from the student after the lesson or a feedback system from the instructor to the student?
After the lesson, the student will send an optional review to the tutor. If the student does not enter a review, it will automatically be registered with 3 stars. The tutor must also send feedback to the student within 3 days after the lesson. Please send feedback to your students by going to My Page→Lessons Taught→Lessons for which feedback has not been completed. Please note that if you do not send this feedback, you will not get any points.
How can I redeem the points I have earned?
Please go to My Page>Apply for point transfer. You must have at least 1500 points to apply. Your points will be transferred to the Paypal account you registered when you registered your account within 10 business days after receiving your request.
What is the margin (Yubikitas system usage fee rate) that is deducted from the points earned?
